Course schedules and fees

(Summer 2024 to Spring 2025)

An open day is held, normally the last Saturday in September, for those interested in joining classes, and for those who merely wish to look around the workshop. Pupils work is displayed, there is a small exhibition of  the stages of  making a violin, and current pupils working on their latest instrument.

Summer courses

Please note that fees are for the course only. If you would like us to arrange accommodation for you in a shared student house, this will cost £220 per week (inc VAT). Costs of materials are described in the application forms for violin and bow making. All fees are inclusive of VAT.

Daytime/evening courses

If you wish to sign up for a day/evening class, please come to the registration open day that takes place before the beginning of the autumn term. However, it is possible to join a class at any time, places permitting. If you would like to know more, contact us by email or post for further information. Please note that fees are for the course only. The cost of materials will be discussed at registration.

All of the daytime and evening courses run on a ten week term either side of Christmas with some additional classes running after Easter. Costs for these courses vary, but fall somewhere from £225 to £250 per term.  Materials as needed are extra. All fees are inclusive of VAT.
